Be a part of the lifesaving cause. Deerfield and The Asheville-Biltmore Rotarians will co-host the American Red Cross blood drive at Deerfield March 28, 2023 from 11am – 3:30pm. There are two opportunities for the types of donations they are accepting.
Blood: The most common type of donation, during which approximately a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour.
Power Red: A Power Red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A Neg, B Neg, or O blood.
While you relax, enjoy the Deerfield Dulcimers as well as John Hickman on harp and get a refresher on a few CPR skills.
