Annual Resident Craft Market
Many Deerfield residents were involved in the creation of fine arts and crafts for years before arriving here. Having honed their skills and talents, they’ve continued their “retirement vocation” in their cottages and apartments, or in the Deerfield arts and crafts areas. Join us for this resident-led craft market in the Blue Ridge Room and explore all that our crafty residents have to offer: fiber art pieces, jewelry, scarves, woodcraft, pottery, note cards, paintings, mounted photographs, and more! Just in time for holiday shopping, or for other gift-giving throughout the year.

Forest Bathing at Kanuga
Rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku and shaped by contemplative, nature-based wisdom, Forest Bathing is the gentle, guided practice of slowing down and re-entering a relationship with the natural world. It invites participants to move at the pace of the forest, awaken the senses, and listen for what the land is offering. This is not a hike, a workout, or a performance; it’s a reconnection to breath, beauty, and the living ecosystem. All bodies and backgrounds are welcome to come as you are and leave with a softened nervous system and a steadier heart. No prior experience required.
