10 Hour Shifts

A brief description:

  • Will Patrol Deerfield Campus in the Security Vehicle making multiple rounds during their shift
  • Will Patrol Deerfield Campus on Foot during their shift
  • Will Patrol Deerfield Campus in the Golf Cart during their shift
  • Write Citations (Parking, Speeding, Running Stop Signs, Etc.)
  • Check-In at Specific Security Check-In Points During their Shifts
  • Perform Safety Drills, Trainings, In-Services as required
  • Complete Daily Reports, Incident Reports, Fire Reports, TekTone Reports as required
  • After Hours (1700 Hrs.) Security is also considered Maintenance, may need to address certain items as requested.  If needed, Security can call Maintenance On-Call for assistance
  • Technical:
  • Have basic knowledge skills for using Smart Phones, Tablets, PC’s and Laptops (Creating Word Documents, Outlook, Excel Documents, Scanning, Copy & Paste Information to reports, Etc.)
  • TekTone- Security Officers will be trained in the programming and troubleshooting of the Deerfield Life Alert System TekTone after their 90 Days, this will allow them to address items during their shifts
  • KABA-Security Officers will be trained in the programming and troubleshooting of the Deerfield Access Control System KABA after their 90 Days, this will allow them to address items during their shifts
  • Wanderguard-Security Officers are updated daily on this list from Skilled Nursing and will need to respond appropriately when called
  • WorxHub-Security Officers will be trained to use the Deerfield WorxHub System, this will allow them to create Work Orders, Complete Daily/Monthly Work Orders, Complete PM’s, Etc.
  • Deerfield Security Camera System-Security Officers will need to know how to View Video Footage, Rewind and View Video Footage, Save Video Clips/Images to Flash Drives, files & reports

Staff Accountant  #9114

The Staff Accountant reports to the Director of Accounting and is responsible for select balance sheet and income statement analysis and reconciliation and oversees payroll and fixed asset functions.The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain all payroll records on a daily basis.  Process payroll every 2 weeks.  File quarterly tax returns.  Provide W-2’s annually.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets module.    Reconcile sub-ledger to the General Ledger monthly.
  • Maintain on-site Chapel’s monthly records.  Input expenses and deposits into QuickBooks. 
  • Cross-train on billing and payables
  • Special projects as requested by CFO and Director of Accounting
  • Assist with annual audit

Preferred qualifications are Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Business, 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, proficiency with QuickBooks, MatrixCare, Microsoft Office applications and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.To apply please submit a cover letter with salary requirements and resume to:smims@deerfieldwnc.org
